Algarve in November

Unbelievable when you’re from Begium or Austria. The temperature, when we landed in Faro, the 29th of October it was 28 degrees. The last two weeks it has dropped to about 22 and still cloudless beautiful weather. Ideal for driving around with our INDIE CAMPER. Due to the APP “park4night”, made from campers for campers, we have found the most beautiful places to camp in nature. The Algave is really an insiders’ tip at this time of the year. I didn’t know that this still exists in Europe.

We wanted a place to integrate all our impressions from the last ten months. To feel, to look where we or if want to settle next year. What calls us…

First two nights at the edge of the endless beach between Faro and Quarteira.

Sand Corn Meditation: Patrick spent at least an hour to divide the different colors and sizes.

Wonderfull walks at the lagoon near Santa Lucia where you can cross a bridge to the island.

Ria Formosa Nature Park and by boat to the island Armora

“Catalana” typical fishstew for the region. Delicious! A speciality are also Clams. Small shells, cooked with koriander and white wine. You can eat it in the small towns along the coast like Tavira with its lovely old center.

Impressive! Salt mountains and salinas, everywhere salt.

We arrived on our night parking when it was already dark. But there was no water to see so far. At high tide in the morning, we almost drowned. Lovely place for our daily morning meditation.

“Praia da Marinha”, one of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world.
